Our 47th year will be filled with amazing performers for your viewing pleasure.
Categorization be damned, the Madison-based five piece, steez, consisting of Matt Williams (keyboards/synthesizers), Steve Neary (guitar and vocals), Alex Roberts (drums), Chris Sell (bass), and Andrzej Benkowski (saxophone, keys) is -- in the simplest terms and the most convenient definitions -- a funk band, a jamband, a fusion band, a disco-fanged multi-beast, and a basket case.
Steez churns out their self-described Creepfunk, a high energy, danceable variety of funk -- one uniquely laced with electronic and improvisational sensibilities.Band Site »

The NNSB spins their own groove on light-footed and hard-driving barn dance tunes of the American south, while slowing down to explore more introspective original compositions.Band Site »
We are a jam band at our roots. Our style is very passionate and energetic. We pour our emotions into every lick and riff we play. We play Rock, Blues, Psychedelic, Reggae, and Hard rock with a more old school take, similar to Black Sabbath or Led Zeppelin. We challenge ourselves to push our creativity and musicianship to a new level, and to make sure the crowd really gets down.Band Site »
Pine Travelers create original music that combines the gritty Americana of outlaw country, folk, and bluegrass with old school funk rave-ups and roots rock & roll.
Based in Madison, WI, Pine Travelers have played close to 300 shows in 6 states since their inception in 2013, including Wisconsin, Illinois, Colorado, Texas, Minnesota, and Iowa. In addition to playing notable Madison venues like High Noon Saloon and The Crystal Corner, the band has also held a monthly residency at Alchemy, a favorite venue on Madison's east side, for a year.
The group's songs allow for a dance-able, energetic live show paired with honest, meaningful lyrics reflecting their northern midwest roots. Pine Travelers hope their music reflects their modest, hard-working values: rural values meshed with urban sensibility; engaging sets ranging from rustic roots music to funk grooves with a modern twist.Band Site »

Acoustic slide blues, delta blues, rock, folk. Larry is a superb delta-blues slide-guitarist. Justin is raunchy on the upright bass. The thought was what if Muddy Waters & Charles Mingus had gotten together to play some down & dirty blues. Moreover, Larry has interpreted and arranged familiar and popular songs in the delta blues tradition.Band Site »
